Upper Deck Authorized Internet Retailer Rules

As an official Upper Deck Authorized Internet Retailer, we may only sell newly released Upper Deck products in Canada until one (1) year after the products release date, as per our agreement.

If you reside in the United States or any other country around the world, and attempt to purchase any Upper Deck products prior to the one (1) year products release date, your order will be cancelled and refunded. Thank you for understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Shipping & Returns

We strive to ship out all orders placed via our website the following business day, however, some orders may take longer to process.

All sales are final. Returns will not be accepted under any circumstances unless there was an error on our part or the item was damaged during shipping, in which case we will do an exchange. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances. If there was an error, you must contact us within 48 hours of receipt of shipment. If you do not contact us within 48 hours of receipt of shipment, the return will not be accepted under any circumstances. If damaged, the item must be returned within 14 days of delivery with a copy of your invoice. In the event that a returned order has any packaging, manuals, accessories or other items missing, the return will be refused. Shipping charges are non-refundable; however, we will refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item due to an error on our part or the item was damaged during shipping.

Note: All orders are subject to a 24-48 hour handling time before shipment. Orders are possibly subject to delays or errors. Listed above are the average delivery times but are only estimates, not guaranteed delivery times. Possible delays include but are not limited to: weather, customs, holidays, product demand or human error.

Note: Niagara Sports Cards is not responsible for any manufacturer defects including damaged cards, printing errors or missing cards from new/sealed card boxes or cases. Small tears, scuffs and separations at the seams of factory sealed product shrink wrap, and minor defects in packaging material not caused by external forces or factors is completely normal and will not be grounds for compensation. All our products are sourced from official Canadian Distributors. If a customer encounters any of these defects they will need to contact the manufacturer’s customer service department directly to resolve the issue. Contact information for the manufacturer is most often located directly on the box. If any additional information is needed by the manufacturer, Niagara Sports Cards will furnish this information upon request.

Note: Niagara Sports Cards is not liable for lost/stolen or simply misplaced orders that have been marked as delivered. If you are concerned about package theft/porch pirates, please add either shipping insurance or request card for pickup in the checkout notes. (Signature Options have been temporarily halted due to COVID-19)

Note: Niagara Sports Cards is not responsible for any customs, duties or other taxes incurred during transportation, nor are we responsible if a parcel is opened for inspection at Border Services/Customs. This will not qualify an order for compensation as this is out of our control and not a decision of ours.

Note: Niagara Sports Cards is not responsible for customers entering incorrect/incomplete addresses. Should an item not be properly delivered due to an incomplete/incorrect address provided to us – we assume no responsibility for the loss incurred.

Group Break Shipping

All “hits” from our group breaks are shipped out once a week free of charge. Hits will be shipped through standard letter mail. If you would like tracking/insurance to be added their will be an additional cost (Contact Us for details).

All numbered base cards (The Cup, Black Diamond, Premier, Engrained, Ultimate, Chronology, SP Game Used, SPX) are considered “hits” and will be shipped free of charge. Regular base cards (SP Authentic, ICE, Trilogy, Series 1/2, Artifacts, O-Pee-Chee Platinum, Synergy, O-Pee-Chee, MVP) will not be shipped unless requested. If you request to have your base cards shipped there will be an additional shipping & handling fee.

Payments sent for Group Breaks are absolutely non-refundable under any circumstances.

Pre-Order Shipping

Products marked as “Pre-Order” on our website will be shipped out on the manufacturer’s release date noted on the product page. A product has been released once the “Pre-Order” badge has been removed. Please note that release dates are subject to change due to errors or delays in regards to publishing, distribution and/or other unforeseen circumstances. If the release date is changed it will be updated on the product page. Please check back frequently for updates.

If multiple pre-order items with different release dates are ordered at the same time, all items on the order will be held until the item with the latest release date becomes in stock. This also applies to pre-order items ordered at the same time as in-stock items. If you request to split your pre-order into multiple shipments there will be an additional shipping & handling fee.

All Pre-Orders are final. Once a Pre-Order has been placed, it can not be cancelled or refunded. Release date delays. product allocations and other logistics, production or distribution factors out of our control will not serve as reason to circumvent this policy.

Pre-Order Price Guarantee

If we lower the price of a Pre-Order product before its release date you will be refunded the difference on a digital gift card which can be redeemed online on a future purchase. If we raise the price of a Pre-Order product, the cost to you will not change*.

*Price adjustments at the distribution level may require us to contact you regarding a price increase – should you not wish to pay the increased price we will gladly offer a full refund. Prices are subject to error and us contacting you would be notice that a price was in error.

A product has been released once the “Pre-Order” badge has been removed. Please note that release dates are subject to change due to errors or delays in regards to publishing, distribution and/or other unforeseen circumstances.

Price Matching Policy

Niagara Sports Cards will gladly consider matching the advertised price of many of our Major Canadian competitors.

To request a price match please provide a link to the product on a competing Canadian website. Eligible products must be in stock and listed online in Canadian dollars. We will try to match sale prices but may decline to match clearance or liquidation items being sold at a loss.

All price match requests are reviewed on a case by case basis and will be issued at the discretion of management and ownership.

All price match requests must be submitted and approved before an order is submitted.

We reserve the right to decline a price match request for any reason, but we will certainly do our best to give you the best price possible!

Amazon, eBay, Kijiji, and other bid based / resale websites are excluded from this policy, as are Big Box stores such as Walmart and Toys R Us.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you wish to cancel an order, you may request by contacting us via our website ‘Contact Us‘ page. You must cancel your order before your item has been shipped. If we do not receive and process your cancellation request before we ship your order, we will not accept the cancellation request.

All Pre-Orders are final. Once a Pre-Order has been placed, it can not be cancelled or refunded. Release date delays. product allocations and other logistics, production or distribution factors out of our control will not serve as reason to circumvent this policy.

Note: All refunds are subject to a 10% transaction fee surcharge. If a refund is requested, excluding Pre-Orders, you will be issued a refund in full minus 10% of the total including tax and shipping charges.

FRAUD PROTECTION

Secure Online Payments

Protecting your order information is our priority. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your online order information. When you input your information into our system via our check out, your shipping and credit card information are sent in an encrypted code that only we can decode. This information is sent to a security service provider (PayPal or Stripe) who validates your name, address and credit card information. Your encrypted credit card information is then sent directly to the credit card processor and is never stored or seen by our computers; this is directly for your safety.
